Back in 2016, I had the opportunity to work as a content writer and translator for the LISTAT initiative, which aimed to spread fun facts and interesting lists in various fields. As part of my role, I was responsible for either creating a list in Arabic by combining information from scientific articles or translating already published English articles, while ensuring to keep the appropriate citations. This experience was one of my most rewarding volunteering opportunities as it allowed me to learn various skills. These included the ability to condense complex scientific information into easy-to-understand lists, as well as developing my Arabic writing and translation skills. Additionally, I learned the importance of conducting thorough research to ensure accuracy and credibility in the information presented. Overall, working with the LISTAT initiative was a fulfilling experience that not only allowed me to give back to the community but also helped me develop new skills that I continue to use today.
