Using AI tools in the classroom can be a powerful way to enhance teaching and learning outcomes, reduce workload, and foster creativity and innovation. However, many educators may feel intimidated or overwhelmed by the rapid advancements and ethical implications of AI. How can they effectively integrate AI into their curriculum and pedagogy? This workshop aims to demystify and equip educators with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to navigate the evolving landscape of AI in education. It will introduce some of the best AI tools for students and teachers, such as Open AI Playground, Chat GPT-3/GPT-4, Quillbot, Fotor, Canva, and Grammarly. It will also explore the opportunities and challenges of using AI for different purposes, such as content generation, feedback, assessment, differentiation, and personalization. By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to use AI tools to enhance their teaching and learning experiences, as well as critically reflect on the ethical and social implications of AI in education.
